Former Gold Coast detective at the centre of fraud probe

A FORMER Gold Coast Detective is at the centre of a major Crime and Corruption Commission probe.

The senior detective turned private eye is accused of having links with money laundering and bikies.

Mick Featherstone was referred to the CCC after investigations into alleged fraud by the Bandidos and Black Uhlans motorcycle gangs.

There’s reports investigators are trying to figure out whether he has links to senior police who are both serving or retired and whether he has any connections to bikies and cold-calling companies police claim are involved in large-scale fraud on the Gold Coast.

Featherstone proclaims he is innocent of all allegations.

We’ll have more information when it comes to hand.
