The Canberra Raiders have announced former Gold Coast Titans player David Taylor has been offered a short term agreement with the club.
The agreement will run from the beginning of the Raiders pre-season and will be reviewed at the end of December.
If the club is happy with how Taylor progresses, he will be given a chance to play two trial games and if coach Ricky Stuart likes what he sees, he will be considered for a deal in 2017.

“If David achieves his goals and is then offered a small playing fee for 2017 he has made better choices for himself, his family and his football,” Stuart said.
“It has shown he has bought in and committed to turning himself around.
“The Raiders have the resources in turning David into a regular NRL player, but it’s up to David to show if he wants it bad enough.”
Taylor has spent the last year with French Super League club Catalan Dragons.
