Four car pile-up causes traffic dramas on the M1
PARAMEDICS are assessing eight people after a major crash on the M1 this morning.
It’s believed four cars collided in the southbound lanes of the motorway through Helensvale just after 10am.
Queensland Ambulance has confirmed eight people are being checked over.
Their conditions or injuries are not yet known.

The accident is causing traffic headaches for the southbound run on the motorway.
Traffic is at a crawl from Coomera down to Helensvale, near Wet’n’Wild.
There are also dramas on the M1 on ramp at Pimpama after a truck lost a trailer load of dirt.
It happened at the roundabout with Rifle Range Road, causing some delays.
