Four charged after drug, weapons found in Gold Coast raids

Four people have been charged with a series of drug and weapons offences after raids across the Gold Coast.

Officers raided a home on Marine Parade at Labrador on Thursday, allegedly finding 21 tabs of LSD, 1.6kg of marijuana and small amounts of cocaine, mushrooms and Valium.

A home on Bushgum Crescent in Upper Coomera was raided on Friday with Police finding 1.3kg of marijuana, six cannabis plants, cash and a taser.

Officers also searched a home on Gordon St at Labrador on Friday, allegedly locating two firearms, two ballistic plates and cash.

A 34-year-old Labrador man has been charged with 21 drug offences and is due in Southport Magistrates Court on August 27.

A 33-year-old man from Upper Coomera is facing charges of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, possessing utensils or pipes and unlawful possession of a weapon.

He will also front court on August 27.

A 49-year-old woman from Labrador has been charged with one count each of possess tainted property, possess restricted items, possess explosives (ammunition) and two counts each of possess weapon.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, possessing utensils or pipes and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Both will front court on September 16.

What about the 2 senior cops caught. Why don’t you print that. 29 and 28 year olds ???
