FOUR people have been arrested and charged with a range of traffic and weapon offences following a drive-by shooting north of the Gold Coast.
Police were called to reports of shots being fired into a home from a car on Lynelle Street in Marsden about 5.15pm on Friday. Thankfully, nobody was injured.
The vehicle – with three men and a woman inside – took off from the scene and was spotted a short time later driving dangerously along Chambers Flat Road.

The police helicopter tracked the vehicle from above before it was driven into an undercover car park at a shopping centre in Browns Plains.
There, it’s alleged the occupants jumped out of the vehicle and got into another which they used to drive out of the car park.
The second vehicle was tracked by Polair as it was driven dangerously from the shopping centre.
Officers successfully deployed road spikes in Kingston and the vehicle eventually came to a stop a short time later after crashing into a ditch at Slacks CReek.
It’s alleged all four occupants tried running away but were apprehended a short distance away.
Three men – a 25-year-old from Bundamba and two men in their 30s from Woodridge – and a 25-year-old woman were all arrested and charged with a list of crimes.
Among the charges include dangerous operation of a vehicle, dangerous conduct with a weapon, disqualified driving, carry dangerous goods and receiving tainted property.
They are all due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
