Four children have been charged after allegedly speeding through several red lights in a stolen car.
The police chopper first spotted the vehicle, a white Landrover Discovery, travelling through Inala before heading onto the Logan Motorway at Larapinta around 2.30pm yesterday.
Police say the car, which had allegedly been stolen from a home in Auchenflower on June 8, was tracked “driving dangerously” through local streets and suburbs.

It was then seen entering a shopping centre carpark at Toowong just before 4.00pm, with the Qld Police Dog Squad called in.
Two 14-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl allegedly tried to flee towards a train station but were arrested after a short foot pursuit.
The teens have all been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary and commit an indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
They are expected to face the Brisbane Children’s Court at a later date.
It comes just days after four teenagers were killed in a horror crash in an alleged stolen car in Townsville early Sunday morning.
The alleged driver, a 14-year-old boy, was the only survivor and has since been charged with dangerous driving causing death, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary, as well as a count of possessing dangerous drugs.
