FOUR people have been taken to hospital after almost drowning on the Gold Coast.
Ambulances were dispatched to Snapper Rocks at Coolangatta just before 12.30pm.
It’s understood paramedics were initially called to reports of a near drowning involving two people at the popular swimming spot but arrived to find four people needing help.

Queensland Ambulance all four patients were treated and transported to hospital in stable conditions.
Their genders and ages were not immediately known.
