Four people have been hospitalised as a result of two separate car crashes in Southport last night.
Emergency services were first called to Nerang Street around 6.00 pm, following reports of a two-car crash.
Three people were assessed briefly at the scene. Two had suffered abdominal pain including a female teenager.

While a male in his 20s suffered back pain. All three were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
Just an hour later, paramedics were called to Parklands Drive and Smith Street following reports of another two-car crash.
A woman in her 20s was briefly assessed at the scene for shoulder and neck pain and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
It comes after another night of heavy rain right across the Gold Coast, which saw around 250 calls for help to SES.
