The trio was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

In the early hours of this morning, paramedics were called to a single-vehicle crash on Brisbane Road in Biggera Waters around 1.30am.

A woman managed to escape serious injury, but was also taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

It comes after a nasty crash involving several trucks and cars brought the Pacific Motorway at Worongary to a halt for several hours yesterday.

Four people were assessed at the scene by paramedics, but only one needed to be transported to hospital for further treatment.
