Four youths arrested over alleged stolen car crash on Gold Coast

Four juveniles have been arrested after an alleged stolen car collided with a bus on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Police were called to Pacific Fair shopping centre just before midday, after receiving reports a girl had been seen shop-lifting before getting into a suspected stolen car.

Officers tracked the vehicle via the city’s CCTV network to the nearby Broadbeach light rail station, where they found the car had collided with the back of a bus.

All four youths were arrested at the scene, with three of them taken to hospital under police guard.

Thankfully no one else was injured in the incident.

Police say the vehicle is believed to have been stolen from a home on Vue Blvd at Robina sometime on Thursday night.

Investigations are continuing.
