Four people been killed after a two-vehicle crash in the Gold Coast hinterland this afternoon.
The driver of one vehicle lost control on Nerang Murwillumbah Rd at Advancetown near Latimers Crossing around 1pm, colliding with an oncoming ute.
All four occupants of that vehicle were declared dead at the scene.

The male driver of the ute in his 20s was treated for minor injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Acting Operations Supervisor Jay Nevins says it was a tragic scene.
“First and foremost our condolences go out to the patients and the family involved in today’s incident,” Mr Nevins said.
“On arrival we found four patients in traumatic cardiac arrest and one patient with minor injuries.
“The patient with minor injuries has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.”
Nerang Murwillumbah Rd remains closed this afternoon as the Forensic Crash Unit investigates.
