Four men charged after police bust dangerous drug syndicate in NSW

Four men have been charged following ongoing investigations into a dangerous drug syndicate operating in the Ballina area.

The men, aged 48, 40, 28 and 22, were arrested yesterday after officers, with assistance from the police dog unit, executed search warrants across the Northern Rivers region.

During the raids, police allegedly located and seized a kilogram of cocaine, as well as MDMA (‘ecstasy’) and cannabis.

The syndicate was allegedly involved in the distribution and sale of commercial quantities of methylamphetamine (ice) and other illicit drugs.

All four men have been charged with multiple drug offences, with three men due to face court today.
