Four people hospitalised after multiple Gold Coast crashes

Emergency services have been called to a number of incidents around the Gold Coast overnight, with multiple people needing treatment in hospital.

Paramedics were first called to a truck and car crash in Burleigh Waters around 7.00pm.

The vehicles collided at Reedy Creek Road and Bermuda Street, with two people assessed at the scene.

They were both taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

A short time later, crews were called to a crash on the M1, where it’s understood a luxury car crashed into a guardrail.

A man was briefly assessed at the scene, before he was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition for a neck injury.

Later on, two cars collided at Fern Street and the Gold Coast Highway in Surfers Paradise.

It happened around 9.00pm, with a woman transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
