Four people injured in 4 separate crashes on the Gold Coast

Four people have been taken to hospital, one serious, after suffering injuries in four separate accidents all within one hour on the Gold Coast this morning.

The first accident occurred at Mudgeeraba just after 6.00am when a man was struck by a car on Somerset Drive and Bonogin Road.

The man, aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.


Just half an hour later a person was taken to Gold Coast University hospital after a crash at Mount Nathan.

The single-vehicle accident occurred on Beaudesert Nerang Road and Riverglen Court just after 6.30am.

Around 7.00am a motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after crashing his bike on Heeb Street at Ashmore.

The rider, a man aged in his mid 40’s, was treated at the scene before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

A young man has also been rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital after being hit by a bus in Surfers Paradise.

The man, believed to be aged in his 20s was struck on Ferny Avenue just after 7.00am.

He is in a serious condition with a severe head injury.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area with major delays currently being experienced.
