Four people injured in three crashes within six minutes on the Gold Coast

FOUR people have been taken to hospital following three separate traffic crashes on the Gold Coast.

The accidents happened within six minutes of each other and at various locations across the Coast.

The first occurred at the intersection of Zimmerman Court and Worongary Road at Gilston around 11.39am.


It’s understood a truck collided with a motorcycle at the location.

The male rider was taken by ambulance to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Five minutes later, emergency crews were called to a two-car crash at Upper Coomera.

The two vehicles came to grief at the intersection of Commercial Street and Old Coach Road.

Two people were taken from the scene by ambulance to the Gold Coast Robina Hospital for treatment.

Within sixty seconds of receiving the second call, crews were called to another two-car crash, this time at Yatala.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Computer Road and Cuthbert Drive around 11:45am.

One person was taken by ambulance from the scene of this accident and transported to Logan Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said all four patients were transported in stable conditions.
