Four people killed in fiery collision on Ipswich motorway

A horrific crash in Ipswich has claimed the life of four people, including a young child.

The head-on collision happened on the Ipswich Motorway just after 11.00 pm on Wednesday, calling emergency services to the scene.

The two cars were both fully engulfed by the time crews arrived.

Two adults and a child were in one of the cars, while a 34-year-old man was the sole occupant of the other vehicle.

All four perished at the scene.

Police report that a black sedan was travelling east in the westbound lanes of the Ipswich Motorway when it collided with a four-wheel-drive around 11.15 pm.

They’re calling on any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward.
