FOURÂ people have been taken to hospital after their car veered off the road and hit a tree on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
Paramedics rushed to the scene on Hirono Court at Parkwood just after 1.30pm, following reports a car had hit a tree.
The occupants were trapped and had to be freed.
Four people were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital, one in a serious condition.
