Four teens stabbed in “organised brawl” at Melbourne McDonalds

FOUR teenagers are in hospital after they were stabbed in what police say was an “organised brawl” outside a Melbourne McDonalds on Sunday night.

Police say a large number of teenagers had attended the McDonalds on St Albans Road in St Albans around 6pm when, shortly after, a brutal brawl broke out.

During the melee, four boys, all thought to be aged 17, were stabbed.

A boy from Braybrook and another from North Melbourne are in a serious condition, police said.

The two other boys, one from St Albans and the other Caroline Springs, sustained less severe wounds.

All four are being treated in hospital.

Police say investigators have spoken to a number of witnesses at the scene and believe the brawl was organised in advance.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
