A man wanted on an outstanding warrant for the manslaughter of a six-year-old boy has been charged after arriving in Sydney from the United Kingdom this morning.

The 53-year-old man was arrested at a London airport on Tuesday 25 April following investigations into the death of the child in 2015.

Police say that “between 22 and 28 April 2015, a man and a woman with their six-year-old son attended a self-healing conference at a facility on Park Road, Hurstville”.

“Just before 10pm on Monday 28 April 2015, emergency services were called to a hotel on Forest Road, Hurstville, following reports the boy had been found in an unconscious state,” police said in a statement.

“Paramedics attended and commenced CPR; however the boy could not be revived.”

The 53-year-old man is the fourth person to be charged over the boys death. Two women, aged 41 and 64, and a 56-year-old man have also been charged manslaughter.

The man has been refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today.
