Foxtel’s buy up of Ten given the green light

PAY-TV giant Foxtel is set to go-ahead with its buy up of part of Network Ten after being given the tick of approval from the competition watchdog.

Foxtel plans to own 14.9 per cent of the free-to-air station.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission mergers committee met this week and has decided to approve the deal.
