UPDATE @ 5.30PM | Rescue crews have located a man and his daughter who were missing in snow at Thredbo.
The pair got lost while snowboarding this afternoon.
They were found just after 5pm and are now with paramedics.

They’re currently being assessed but aren’t believed to be injured.
Crews are now working out how to get them out.
EARLIER @ 4.30PM | A major search is underway for a man and his young daughter missing in deep snow in the New South Wales ski fields.
The man and the girl, believed to be 10-years-old, got lost while on a snowboarding tour in Thredbo.
The man has been in contact with emergency services but his phone battery is dying which has been affecting communication.
“We are continuing to conduct search efforts – it’s a massive effort between police, Fire and Rescue NSW and ambulance,” NSW Ambulance Superintendent Jordan Emery told 2GB on Monday.
“There’s been a huge dump of snow this afternoon which is making it challenging. “
Extra emergency service personnel are being brought in to assist in the search.
