Fraud detectives raiding offices of NRL player agents
The NSW Police fraud squad are reportedly raiding the offices of several NRL player agents.
The raids, which are in relation to the Parramatta Eels salary cap scandal, are being executed at premises in Sydney’s CBD, Woollahra, and Leichhardt.
7NEWS reports fraud detectives are seizing documents, including contracts for past and present players.
In July this year, NSW Police formed a taskforce to investigate possible money laundering and fraud.
No arrests are expected to be made at this stage.
