French President Emmanuel Macron has touched down in Australia for a meeting with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
The President arrived in Sydney on Tuesday before attending a dinner with Mr Turnbull and his wife Lucy at the Sydney Opera House.
The French Embassy in Australia shared images of the French President as he landed down under for his very first visit.

Macron and Turnbull are expected to hold talks about trade and defence, including Australia’s new fleet of Submarines, which French shipbuilding company Naval Group holds the contract for.
