A woman has been left shaken this morning, after trying to help a crash victim in Arundel overnight.
The woman witnessed a crash on Captain Cook Close around 11.30pm, and stopped to see that the victim was alright.
She then called for assistance from paramedics, when the crash victim allegedly tried to steal her car keys.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson has confirmed that when paramedics arrived, they and the woman locked themselves inside the ambulance as per procedure, as the man apparently tried to force his way in before running off.
Gold Coast police have confirmed the incident hasn’t been reported to them as an attempted car jacking, and that they’re not looking into it.
The woman and the paramedics were unharmed in the event.
