Front door smashed, drugs stolen in Gold Coast pharmacy robbery

A search is underway for a thief who targeted a Gold Coast pharmacy overnight.

Police were called to Capri Pharmacy on Isle of Capri just after 7.00am on Wednesday after someone discovered the front glass door had been completely smashed.

A Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed an unknown quantity of drugs was also taken from the premises.

It’s not yet known what time the crime occurred or who may be responsible.

Officers are now searching through CCTV footage for clues.
