Gable Tostee faces Southport Court

THE Surfers Paradise man charged over the death of a New Zealand tourist, faced Southport Court via videolink on Friday.

Gable Tostee was arrested a few days after Warriena Wright’s body was discovered outside the Avalon Apartments in August.

The young woman met Tostee via dating app Tinder, she had been on a two week holiday to attend a wedding.

Today in Southport, the ABC reported that Police agreed to hand over mobile phone data, autopsy report and crime scene pictures within 14 days.

Tostee sacked his Lawyer and hired a firm headed up by Terry O’Gorman earlier this month.  His new legal team has been critical of leaked phone recordings.
