Gold Coast Suns captain Gary Ablett is set for his first full-on training session since the middle of the year.
Suns coach Rodney Eade confirmed the dual Brownlow Medal winner and club captain is due to join in with the full squad at Metricon Stadium today.
It will be the first time since he injured his left knee in a match against Adelaide in July that Ablett has been given the all clear for full contact.

Ablett has managed just 23 AFL matches in the past two years. His 2014 campaign was ruined when he dislocated his left shoulder in Round 17 and he underwent reconstructive surgery.
