Gas odour sparks emergency response in Logan

ELEVEN people have been assessed by paramedics following a gas fumes incident in Logan this morning.

Emergency crews including Queensland Ambulance, Queensland Fire and Queensland Police rushed to the scene on Fryar Road in Eagleby just before 9.30am.

It’s understood there was a strong smell of gas coming from a location in the area, prompting the emergency response.


Upon arrival, fire crews conducted some tests, which returned normal readings.

After determining the scene safe, crews left around 10.10am.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC no one required transport to hospital.
