A 16-YEAR-OLD boy is recovering in hospital after he was punched to the ground and had his head and throat stomped on in and teeth kicked out in a brutal attack at a house party in Sydney.
Police say a number of uninvited guests gatecrashed a girl’s 16th birthday party at the Jennings Street home in Matraville shortly after 10.30 on Friday night.
After refusing to leave, the group allegedly punched the 59-year-old homeowner in the face, breaking his nose, before striking a 32-year-old man who was working as a private security guard at the event.

The altercation quickly escalated and spilled out onto a path where a 16-year-old boy was knocked to the ground after being coward punched in the back of the head.
While lying injured on the path, the teen’s attackers allegedly jumped on his head and stomped on his throat before fleeing the scene.
The 16-year-old had several teeth kicked out in the assault and was left with extensive facial injuries.
He was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition for treatment. He remains there tonight, recovering in a stable condition.
Police say two other teenagers were injured in the assault, they were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
No arrests have yet been made. Investigations into the attack are continuing, with police urging witnesses to come forward.
