GC Detectives arrest pair with links to drug and property offences

A man and a woman have been arrested by Gold Coast Detectives investigating property and drug offences.

Around 1.45am on Thursday morning police noticed an alleged stolen vehicle parked outside a home on Silvia Close, Pacific Pines.

Police searched the property and arrested a man.

A woman, who was hiding in bushes of a neighbouring property, was also arrested.

A 26-year-old man has been charged with one count each of possess dangerous drugs, possession of stolen property, carrying a knife in public, unlawful possession of a weapon, and wilful damage.

A 28-year-old woman was charged with one count each of trespass and possession of stolen property.

Both appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday and have been remanded in custody to re-appear on Friday.

Police investigations are continuing.
