Australian film and TV legend Geoffrey Rush has also been nominated.
But Gold Coast’s very own, Ms Robbie, is getting most of the plaudits.

She’s been nominated in the best Comedy/Musical Actress category for her portrayal of disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding, in the unconventional biopic.
Ms Robbie has earned rave reviews for her depiction of the ultra-competitive skater who was linked to a vicious attack on her main rival ahead of the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Nicole Kidman has been nominated for best performance by an actress in a limited series or motion picture for her role in Big Little Lies and Geoffrey Rush earned his nomination for his part as Albert Einstein in Genius.
Kidman’s biggest fan, and husband, Keith Urban could barely contain his enthusiasm as he congratulated his wife.
