WATCH: KFC staff confronted by armed man wearing ‘stocking over his head’
Police have released terrifying vision of the moment a man storms a KFC at Labrador while armed with a knife.
The hair-raising footage shows the armed bandit with a stocking over his head as he barges into a backroom and threatens a female employee with the weapon.
The man took off with the employee’s handbag after he failed to gain money from the till.
He was last seen running west along Robert Street wearing black trousers, a black shirt and shoes with white on them.

UPDATE @ 1.00pm: Gold Coast Police are hunting a bandit after an armed robbery at a Labrador KFC this morning.
Around 10.30am, a man armed with a knife and with a stocking over his head, entered the Frank Street fast food restaurant and made demands for money.
The man was unable to gain money from the till, however managed to steal a female employee’s handbag.
He was last seen running west along Robert Street wearing black trousers, a black shirt and shoes with white on them.

EARLIER @ 11.40am: Gold Coast Police are hunting a bandit after an armed hold up at a Labrador KFC this morning.
Police said the man, who was armed with a knife and wearing a stocking over his head, entered the fast food restaurant on Frank Street just after 10.30am.
It’s understood the service station across the road witnessed the terrifying encounter and contacted police.
