Police are still on the hunt for a man who broke into a woman’s bedroom through her window and sexually assaulted her in her bed.
The attack, which police have described as ‘horrendous’ took place during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say a man broke into the woman’s unit on Edmund Rice Drive at Southport while she was asleep and allegedly jumped on her bed and sexually assaulted her.

Detectives, including the dog squad, have spent hours scouring the scene and surrounding areas for clues since the terrifying attack, however the sexual predator remains at large.
It’s alleged the victim, a woman in her 30s, told police she had seen her attacker before.
He is described as being around 175 centimetres tall with a slim build, unshaven appearance and olive complexion.
