GC Surf Club now serving Carlton Draught tank beer

BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club are the first venue on the Gold Coast to adopt Australia’s biggest innovation in draught beer with the installation of CUB’s Brewery Fresh Carlton Draught Tank Beer.

Four 500 litre refrigerated copper tanks have been installed in the club, with bar staff now serving Brewery Fresh Carlton Draught Tank Beer, delivered chilled from CUB’s brewery, to patrons.

Brewery Fresh Carlton Draught Tank Beer is unpasteurised, meaning it is decanted directly from the brewery’s bright beer tank. Unpasteurised beer is the purist’s beer, as unlike other beers it’s not heated to 70 degrees during the brewing process. It’s then kept chilled below three degrees and is delivered swiftly to the venue in special chilled delivery tankers so it can be enjoyed as the brewers intended – with a lively taste profile and a smooth finish.

Not only are BMD Northcliffe excited about the delivery of fresh beer to patrons, the shiny rose gold tanks have also become a new design feature of the club’s bar.
