GC Water Police treat cruise ship passenger

A CRUISE Ship passenger has had to swap some luxury time for a hospital stay.

Gold Coast Water Police were called just after midnight to treat the 74-year-old, after he slipped and knocked his while on board Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Sea.

The liner was about 12 nautical miles from the Seaway when the accident happened at 12.30am.

The man suffered concussion and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
