GCAM: 10km and 5.7km race winners cross the line
The shorter races in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon event have been run and won.
Hugh Williams was the first person to cross the finish line (29:23) of the Southern Cross University 10km run on Saturday morning.
Andrew Buchanan (29:26) and Jack Curran (29:56) also made it under the 30-minute mark.
Leanne Pompeani was the first woman to finish (33:58)
The Suncorp Bank 5.7km Challenge started a short time later and Jack Anstey took first place (17:03), closely followed by Liam Cashin (17:05) and Mitchell Thompson (17:26).

Katinka Von Elsner-Wellsteed (19:43) was the first female across the line.
More than 6,600 people took part in the two events, with cold but calm conditions greeting entrants at the Broadwater Parklands.
The full and half marathon events will be held tomorrow, with similar weather conditions forecast.
