Geelong have confirmed star Patrick Dangerfield suffered a low-grade hamstring tear in Sunday’s JLT game against Essendon.
The Cats say the midfielder is still a chance to play in the side’s Round 1 AFL clash against Melbourne at the MCG on March 25.
The club also confirmed ruckman Rhys Stanley suffered a low-grade calf strain on Sunday but should be right to go in a couple of weeks time.
