Get into the festive spirit at the Broadbeach Christmas Carols this Saturday!

Tis the season to be jolly…. so if you’re not yet feeling the Christmas cheer, singing along to some festive tunes is guaranteed to brighten your mood!

This Saturday, you will be able to feel the spirit of Christmas come alive in song at the Broadbeach Christmas Carols at Kurrawa Park.

Seasoned favourites Martin Crewes and Danielle Everett will hit the stage to perform this year, alongside a host of local talent including the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, Gold Coast Youth Choir, Signature Dance and the winners of Pacific Fair’s Sing to Win competition.

The carols will be hosted by 1029 Hot Tomato’s Flan, Emily Jade & Christo, and will also include a magical appearance from Santa and his elves and a spectacular fireworks display to close the event at 8pm.

Before the carols get underway at 6pm, families will be able to enjoy free rides and kids entertainment from 3pm, including a special Gold Coast Christmas stage appearance from everyone’s favourite little blue friends, The Smurfs at 5:30pm.

Broadbeach Alliance CEO, Jan McCormick, said when selecting the entertainment for 2018, they couldn’t go past the Smurfs.

“Over the past 51 years, The Smurfs have won the hearts of Great Grandparents through to their Great Grandchildren, and on this special night they can come together and share this common joy whilst experiencing the magic that comes from a unison of carols enthusiasts,” she said.

“The Broadbeach Christmas Carols is about bringing the community together for a night that embraces the tradition and wonder of Christmas across multi-generations.”

Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is once again the presenting partner for the Broadbeach Carols, and will be providing free parking at the centre from 3pm.

Marketing Manager Sato Howard said Pacific Fair were excited and proud to be involved.

“Broadbeach is our home and we love supporting community events here. Of course, Christmas is an extra special time at Pacific Fair as families prepare for the Christmas season. This year we wanted to extend our community love outside the Shopping Centre and the Broadbeach Christmas Carols is the perfect opportunity to do this.”

So grab your family and friends, light a candle and get ready for a phenomenal night of Christmas entertainment at The 2018 Broadbeach Christmas Carols presented by Pacific Fair this Saturday. Be sure to arrive early to secure your spot and don’t forget to bring a blanket and chairs.
