FORGET sipping from your drinks, a futuristic new vapour bar that allows people to absorb alcohol directly into the bloodstream is hitting the streets of Brisbane.

Many concerns have been raised over the unique bar, which has been branded incredibly dangerous by medical experts.

How it works: Alcoholic vapour from a gin and tonic will be pumped into the air where it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream through the eyeballs, mucus membranes and lungs, bypassing the liver.
Reports suggest that one 40-minute session is the equivalent of a large drink.
The attraction is part of the Brisbane Festival’s Fear and Delight show, running from September 5 to 25 and will only be open for that period.
