A GIANT alligator has been pulled from a lake in the US state of Alabama, on the first day of hunting season.
At more than four-metres (13-feett 6-inches) long, the reptile weighs 417 kilograms (920 pounds) and took six men to haul it into the boat on Lake Eufaula on Friday.
The ‘gator’ is expected to produce 250 pounds of meat and break records for the lake.

It’s believed to be the second heaviest alligator killed during a regulated hunt in Alabama.
