Giraffe Silicone Teether recalled over choking, suffocation fears

A giraffe silicone teether sold on popular online marketplace Ebay has been recalled over choking and suffocation fears.

According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the teethers from eBay Trader Veronica and Company are “smaller than the permitted dimensions specified in the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age.”

“The product may get lodged in an infant/child’s throat and pose a choking or suffocation hazard.”
