A 13-year-old girl has been indecently assaulted by a man who befriended her on an online social networking site.
Police said the young girl had been befriended online in April by a man who allegedly used a fake social media profile to request information and photos.
After threatening to release photos of her, the girl met the man in person, where he indecently assaulted her.

Police were notified of the assault in August and Child Abuse Squad detectives launched an investigation.
On Saturday, detectives arrested a 23-year-old man at Tarrawanna.
A search warrant was also conducted at a room at an army barracks at Heathcote, where the man was based and a number of electronic devices were seized.
The man was later charged with three counts of indecent assault, and possess child abuse material.
