Girl, 15, charged with stabbing man at fast food store

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged after allegedly stabbing a man outside a fast food store in Sydney’s west.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing on Munmorah Circuit at Woodcroft just before 10pm.

They arrived to find a 23-year-old man with a single stab wound, allegedly inflicted by a 15-year-old girl.


It’s alleged the man had been fighting with the girl and three other people at a fast food outlet on Richmond Road.

The man was tended to by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he was treated before being released.

Police setup a crime scene and following a search of the surrounding area arrested the 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy.

The girl was charged with reckless wounding and released on bail to appear at a children’s court next month.

Police said the 17-year-old boy will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
