Girl, 16, charged over dangerous pursuit through Brisbane in stolen car
A 16-year-old girl has been charged after leading police on a dangerous pursuit through Brisbane last night.
Just after 8.30pm, officers observed a stolen vehicle on Stapylton Road at Heathwood.
The police helicopter assisted in tracking the white Holden Commodore, while officers followed it on the ground.
It eventually came to a stop on the Riverside Expressway after being stung by a tyre deflation device.
The teen girl and a man then ran from the car, however were taken into custody nearby.
A 16-year-old girl from Forest Lake has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possess drug utensil.
Investigations are ongoing.
