A teenage girl has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 16-year-old boy to death in far north Queensland.
According to police, the pair became involved in an altercation at a home along Roberts Street at Doomadgee just after midday on Tuesday.
During the fight, the 16-year-old girl allegedly stabbed the boy, who was known to her.

He died at the scene, while the teenage girl was taken into custody nearby.
She has been denied police bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Doomadgee Children’s Court charged with murder, domestic violence offence.
