Police are investigating a horror crash on the Gold Coast overnight, which has left a teenage girl with serious injuries.
The 16-year-old is alleged to have lost control of the vehicle she was driving along Hinkler Drive in Worongary around 9.40pm.
The car rolled a number of times before finally coming to a stop against a tree.

The teen, who was the only person in the vehicle, had to be rescued by emergency crews after becoming trapped inside the wreckage.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics for serious injuries to her legs and pelvis before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police have confirmed the vehicle involved was not stolen.
Investigations are ongoing.
