A brave four-year-old girl is being hailed a hero after calling triple zero when her mum was seriously injured in a horror quad bike crash north of Taree.
The shocking accident occurred just after 1.30pm yesterday, when a 35-year-old woman was riding a caged quad bike along a driveway at Bundook.
Police said the woman drove down a steep slope before she lost control, rolling several times.

The woman’s courageous four-year-old daughter ran to her mother’s aid after witnessing the crash, however she also fell over sustaining facial grazing on the way.
Police said the youngster was able to climb down the embankment and tend to her mother before running back to the home and phoning triple zero.
Several hours later, emergency crews managed to rescue the woman who was pinned under her bike.
She was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The girl is being cared for by relatives while her father returns from interstate.
Officers will formally acknowledge the child’s quick thinking and life saving actions.
