Girl dead after out-of-control car ploughs into pizzeria near Paris
A young girl has been killed and several other people have been injured after a car ploughed into a pizzeria near Paris.
The girl, understood to be 13-years-old, was struck down by the out-of-control vehicle in the small French town of Sept-Sorts on Monday night.
The male driver was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
Local media say the man is understood to have acted deliberately, although “the incident is not being treated as a terror attack”.
The injured victims have been taken to hospital for treatment.
