Girl missing from Logan Central has been found

UPDATE | The 12-year-old girl reported missing from Logan Central north of the Gold Coast almost a week ago, has been located safe and well.

EARLIER | Police are appealing for help to find a 12-year-old girl, missing from Logan Central, north of the Gold Coast, for almost a week.


The girl was last seen on Wembley Road, Woodridge on August 31.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

She is known to use public transport and may be travelling between Logan and the Southbank area.

It is possible the girl could be in company with other teenagers.

She is described as Torres Strait islander in appearance, olive complexion, brown eyes, proportionate build, approximately 160cm tall with shoulder length dark brown curly hair.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a small white motif on the right side of the chest and same motif on the back, black baseball shorts and black shoes.
