Glitter Festival comes to a sparkly close on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is officially glittered out, with Glitter Festival – the first ever local gay, lesbian, bi, trans, intersex and queer festival – coming to close yesterday.

Thousands of locals turned out to honour the Gold Coast’s LGBTIQAP+ community, making the most of the mixture of both ticketed and free events on offer throughout the past week.

From comedy to cabaret, visual arts to long lunches, motion pictures and a race day at the Turf Club; Glitter really had something for everyone to enjoy.
